Katie and Chris wanted their engagement session to mean something, so we started where it all began—Earthworld Comics, the site of their first date and their bond.
From there, we wandered through the historic streets of Albany near Chris’s old apartment, talking about our shared music tastes (Radiohead, mostly) while making stops for photos in this cozy upstate New York city’s perfect fall colors and beautiful old buildings.
Katie, an artist, saw the session the same way I did—not as a checklist of poses but as a way to capture something real. Nothing felt forced. We moved through the city with purpose, stopping when it felt right, letting the places and moments speak for themselves. Their session was creative, meaningful, and full of intentional details that tell the story of their relationship.
