NY Documentary Wedding Photographer serving NYC, Brooklyn, + Destinations
I didn’t come to photography through trends or industry — I came to it because it’s how I process the world.
It’s always been instinctual to me. Before I understood it technically, I understood it intuitively — noticing how people move, how energy shifts in a room, what’s felt but not said. That way of seeing still drives how I work.
My background is in documentary photography, which I studied formally and shapes everything I do. I worked as a photo assistant, at a post production house known for its ethical standards,
and as a second photographer on high profile and celebrity events.
Those experiences taught me precision and professionalism, but more importantly, they clarified what I value:
honesty over performance, presence over perfection.
I don’t approach weddings by trying to manage or direct everything.
I’m there to watch, to follow what’s happening, and to respond to it as it unfolds.
I’m drawn to what happens when people are actually in it — not thinking about being seen or photographed. The energy is already there — I’m just paying attention to it.
More than anything, this kind of work depends on trust. Not trying to perfect or manage every moment, but allowing yourselves to actually experience the day while you trust me to witness and photograph what happens.
That trust gives me the space to work the way I do — intuitively, observing what’s happening
as it unfolds, capturing the energy and emotion as it was.

This work is where I feel most natural.
Photography has always felt like an extension of how I see and move through the world. It’s my way of expressing what I notice,
and the place where I feel most like myself.
At my core, I believe photography comes from a desire to understand — to understand people, to uncover what’s hidden, to
make sense of the world, and say something honest about how I see it.
This work isn’t a trend for me — it’s a practice.
